Overview
Inkrata is a free API service for detecting scam images. We collect and process the absolute minimum amount of data necessary to provide this service. There are no user accounts, no usernames, and no passwords.
What we store
We do not store any personal data by default. The only exception is your email address, which we store only if you explicitly ask us to send your API key via email instead of providing it through Discord. If you receive your key through Discord, we store nothing about you at all.
Images
We do not store uploaded images. When you use the upload endpoint, the image is processed entirely in memory by our hashing, OCR, and VLM systems, and then immediately discarded. What we do store are cryptographic hashes (SHA-256 and PDQ) and vectorized identifiers derived from scam images. These are non-reversible mathematical values, it is impossible to reconstruct the original image from a hash.
Data location
All data processed and stored by Inkrata is located on servers physically hosted in Germany.
